• www.suse.com One of many Linux distros, but the one I'm currently using.
• www.apache.org The web server to use.
• www.php.net Web scripting language.  Creating a web app?  Use PHP.
• www.mysql.com Backend Database.  Need to save that data from your PHP app somewhere, right?
• www.nmrc.org  Some good stuff.
• Dave's Novell Shareware An excellent resource.
